While running along the Elliott Bay Trail in Seattle, I finally had the opportunity to see and hear a raft of sea lions! I’ve been running this trail for over a year now and have seen a variety of wildlife including several bald eagle sightings. During every run, I scan the Puget Sound hoping to see marine life on the horizon. Maybe one of these days I’ll finally see some orcas…fingers crossed.
I didn’t know it was called a “raft.” That’s interesting. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you on those Orcas. Would love to see a photo!

I didn’t know either until I researched for this blog post. I love to learn new things!
