My friends and I discovered these two deer just off Mowich Lake Road in Mount Rainier National Park. Little did they know that chaos ensued just above them on the snowy mountain road. While several people and vehicles were attempting to help two trucks that were stuck in the snow, these two were in their own little winter wonderland.
While running along the Elliott Bay Trail in Seattle, I finally had the opportunity to see and hear a raft of sea lions! I’ve been running this trail for over a year now and have seen a variety of wildlife including several bald eagle sightings. During every run, I scan the Puget Sound hoping to see marine life on the horizon. Maybe one of these days I’ll finally see some orcas…fingers crossed.
